Our partnerships

Sortera is proud to be an Official Partner of the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark, from 9–25 May 2025. Sortera will also be responsible for significant aspects of waste management at the 10,000-square-metre Official Fan Zone, which will be set up next to the newly renovated Avicii Arena in Stockholm. Together, we aim to create a sustainable event where as much waste as possible is recycled and transformed into new resources.

CCBuild is a collaborative platform aimed at supporting the industry’s transition to more circular construction. A third of Sweden’s total waste comes from construction and demolition, yet much of it is of such high quality that it can be reused. At Sortera, we are a proud partner of CCBuild, working to reduce the amount of usable materials that go to waste. By making the most of existing resources, we help reduce both environmental impact and costs.

Sortera has collaborated with Marathongruppen for several years to support high-quality sports events that promote physical activity and public health.

Our partnership is built on a shared goal—to create truly sustainable events with responsible waste management, ensuring that as much waste as possible is recycled. We at Sortera are proud to be Marathongruppen’s waste management partner, making these events more sustainable together.
