We look back on a good year with further acquisitions and successful integrations, reduced climate emissions and several innovative projects.

As a leading actor in the transition from a linear to a circular economy, Sortera works to increase material recycling, create more circular material flows and find new value chains. During the year, we completed three acquisitions that strengthen our position in the collection and recycling of construction waste and water treatment in Sweden and Great Britain. Our stable growth means that we can help drive the transition for a more circular economy in more cities and countries.

Our direct emissions have decreased by 30 percent compared to the previous year, thanks to the switch to the fuel HVO100 in Sweden but also because we invested in biogas cars as part of our long-term roadmap towards a fossil-free vehicle fleet.

During the year, we have also developed or been part of several innovative projects. Among other things, we have created a new product, CE-marked stone-macadam, which is manufactured by treating stone waste at one of our facilities.

In addition to our environmental initiatives, we have also invested in training in occupational health and safety as well as leadership, to ensure a safe and prosperous workplace for our employees.
